Stephanie E. Green

Wright State University has added another Ohio financial leader to its board.

Stephanie Green has been appointed to the university’s 11-member board by Gov. John Kasich, it announced. Green is senior vice president at Fifth Third Bank and director of its Fifth Third Private Bank Central Ohio Region, based in Columbus. She replaces Eloise Broner and her term expires in June 2026.

Green has 28 years of experience at Fifth Third, and has been active in a number of boards and organizations in Columbus. Fifth Third Private Bank is the portion of the Cincinnati-based bank that focuses on investment and financial planning for high net-worth individuals and families.

The appointment further shifts Wright State’s board leadership to favor private-sector business leadership and financial management, including the appointment of Wright-Patt Credit Union president and CEO Doug Fecher as chair of the board. Broner is president of Good Samaritan Hospital and comes from a purchasing and health care operations background.

Former Teradata COO Bruce Langos was recently appointed to the board as well, replacing Nina Joshi of UES. Langos has favored a conservative approach to the school’s budget, and has favored further cuts and stricter financial reporting for the school of 3,700 employees and more than 14,000 students and 110,000 living alumni.
