{"id":110649,"date":"2021-08-19T09:29:30","date_gmt":"2021-08-19T13:29:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/?p=110649"},"modified":"2021-08-19T12:46:22","modified_gmt":"2021-08-19T16:46:22","slug":"great-move","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2021\/08\/19\/great-move\/","title":{"rendered":"Great move"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>While the traditional golf cart brigade was not possible, Wright State University still welcomed new residential students to the Dayton Campus on Aug. 18 and 19 with Operation Move-In.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Wright State welcomed more students living in residential housing this year, with 450 returning residents and over 750 new residents moving into residence halls and apartments, said Dan Bertsos, director of Residence Life and Housing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m excited,\u201d said Johnny Holloway, a senior majoring in public health who volunteered for Operation Move-In.<\/p>\n<p>Holloway said that he\u2019s happy to be on-campus after learning online for the previous three semesters. \u201cTo see new faces and people moving in is what this day is all about,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Students and their families arrived during their scheduled time on campus in Lot 4, where<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wright.edu\/residence-life-and-housing\">Residence Life and Housing<\/a><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>staff checked them in with a touchless drive-through process.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cI was really stressing out before today.
