{"id":112370,"date":"2021-10-01T09:54:35","date_gmt":"2021-10-01T13:54:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/?p=112370"},"modified":"2022-09-29T11:23:33","modified_gmt":"2022-09-29T15:23:33","slug":"promo-producers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2021\/10\/01\/promo-producers\/","title":{"rendered":"Promo producers"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_112374\" style=\"width: 470px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-112374\" class=\"wp-image-112374 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2021\/09\/pic11112222320-508x286.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"460\" height=\"259\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-112374\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Chioma Ezeudu color correcting the video she produced for Twist Cupcakery.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Wright State University motion picture graduates donated their time and expertise to help several local businesses this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Adam Clark, Chioma Ezeudu and Parker Bowling graduated in the spring of 2021 with <a href=\"https:\/\/liberal-arts.wright.edu\/theatre-dance-and-motion-pictures\/bachelor-of-arts-or-bachelor-of-fine-arts-in-motion-pictures\">bachelor&#8217;s degrees in motion picture production<\/a>. They collaborated together while each directed, shot and edited their own individual promotional videos for Sand Dollar Music, Twist Cupcakery and Jubie\u2019s Creamery.<\/p>\n<p>Grace Randall, a December 2021 graduate who majored in design with a concentration in sound design, provided the music tracks for the Twist Cupcakery and Jubie\u2019s Creamery videos.<\/p>\n<p>The graduates chose the businesses because of their familiarity with the companies or they expressed an interest in the organizations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt some point in the Spring Semester we had an idea to interact more with the community since they do so much for us,\u201d said Jeremy Bolden, instructor of motion picture production. \u201cIf the people of Dayton didn\u2019t give our students locations to shoot in, we wouldn\u2019t be able to make movies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The spring graduates chose the businesses because of their familiarity with the companies or they expressed an interest in the organization.<\/p>\n<p>The projects allowed the students to produce a short video project after graduating and offered the businesses a chance to use the new video content for promotional purposes.<\/p>\n<p>The production began in May and took several months to complete.
