{"id":115184,"date":"2021-11-05T09:02:45","date_gmt":"2021-11-05T13:02:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/?p=115184"},"modified":"2022-10-26T09:26:24","modified_gmt":"2022-10-26T13:26:24","slug":"wright-state-school-of-nursing-honors-cameos-of-caring-awardees-from-kettering-health-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2021\/11\/05\/wright-state-school-of-nursing-honors-cameos-of-caring-awardees-from-kettering-health-network\/","title":{"rendered":"Wright State School of Nursing honors Cameos of Caring awardees from Kettering Health Network"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2021\/11\/05\/wright-state-school-of-nursing-honors-cameos-of-caring-awardees-from-kettering-health-network\/cheh_nursing\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-115237\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-115237 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2021\/11\/CHEH_Nursing-508x104.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"460\" height=\"94\" \/><\/a>The <a href=\"https:\/\/health-education-human-services.wright.edu\/nursing-kinesiology-and-health-sciences\">Wright State University School of Nursing<\/a> will honor eight outstanding hospital nurses from the Kettering Health Network with Cameo of Caring Awards.<\/p>\n<p>The awards, which represent exceptional nurses across the region and raise money for scholarships, will be presented virtually on Friday, Nov. 5.<\/p>\n<p>November marks the 20th anniversary of Wright State\u2019s Cameos of Caring Ceremony. While Cameos of Caring was established by the University of Pittsburgh, the Wright State program was initiated by Patricia Martin, dean emeritus.<\/p>\n<p>Martin led the then Wright State University\u2013Miami Valley College of Nursing in the early 2000s and hosted the event on campus in the Student Union.
