{"id":119783,"date":"2022-03-01T12:15:14","date_gmt":"2022-03-01T17:15:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/?p=119783"},"modified":"2022-03-01T15:17:36","modified_gmt":"2022-03-01T20:17:36","slug":"having-a-ball","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2022\/03\/01\/having-a-ball\/","title":{"rendered":"Having a ball"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Wright State University Black Student Union celebrated Black excellence at the Heritage Ball, a formal event held in the Student Union Apollo Room on Feb. 26.<\/p>\n<p>The sold-out ball was free to students and included dinner, performances, awards, music and dancing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s all about the unity,\u201d said Gary Neal, a sophomore mechanical engineering major who is president of the Black Student Union. \u201cWe don\u2019t take any money from this.
