Cheers and clapping could be heard throughout the Wright State University Student Union on Friday night.<\/p>\n
The campus hosted a watch party in the Union Market for students, faculty, staff and alumni to gather and watch the 16th-seeded Wright State men\u2019s basketball team compete against No. 1 Arizona Wildcats in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s been really fun to see all of the excitement on campus,\u201d said Jenna Steward, a senior majoring in organizational leadership who attended the watch party.<\/p>\n
Four large televisions were set up and Chartwells donated pizzas, subs, popcorn and drinks.<\/p>\n
The Raiders fell to the Wildcats 87\u201370<\/a>.
