She serves the Raider community tirelessly, working hard to make sure student payments are on time and efficient.<\/p>\n<p>Kindred provides a high level of service to everyone she comes across in her work. When students encounter problems with their banking, Kindred reaches out proactively to help them fix the problem.<\/p>\n<p>Don Borowy, director of treasury services, has been Kindred\u2019s supervisor for over seven years. He commended her dedication to the Office of the Bursar and Wright State and shared that she is always ready to help out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeth has jumped in to assist in the daily job duties of a coworker,\u201d Borowy said. \u201cNever does she pass off a request as &#8216;it\u2019s not my job,&#8217; but jumps in full bore and assists until it is resolved.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kindred frequently readjusts her own workday and schedule to meet the needs of her office and coworkers. Recently, she shifted her schedule to work a few hours a day during her days off to ensure the department\u2019s needs were met.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is something I did not ask for, but something Beth has done on her own to help the department out,\u201d Borowy said.<\/p>\n<p>Kindred has two sons who graduated from Wright State, which Borowy said has given her great insight into the challenges students face at the university. Her unique perspective lets her help students more effectively.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA student praised her for handling a problem in an urgent and professional manner,\u201d Borowy said. \u201cThe student said she will forever appreciate the excellent assistance she received from Beth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Along with her services in the Office of the Bursar, Kindred volunteers for a variety of committees and events. She has served for over 20 years on the Housing Committee, where she hears student appeals.
