Productions, won as a producer of \u201cA Strange Loop,\u201d which was nominated for Best New Musical. \u201cA Strange Loop\u201d earned 11 total nominations, the most of any show.<\/p>\n<p>The 75th annual Tony Awards ceremony was held June 12.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA Strange Loop,\u201d which was written by Michael R. Jackson, has already won the Pulitzer Prize in drama.<\/p>\n<p>Monda won Tony Awards in 2021 as a producer of \u201cThe Inheritance,\u201d which was named Best Play, and in 2019 for \u201cHadestown,\u201d which was named Best Musical.<\/p>\n<p>Monda was also nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play as the producer of \u201cSlave Play\u201d in 2021. He has also produced the successful Broadway shows \u201cAllegiance,\u201d \u201cThe New One\u201d and \u201cMrs. Doubtfire.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He has also developed innovative contracts and structures to film and release Broadway shows for Cineplex release and pay-per-view showings, making live theatre available to more viewers. His production company has brought \u201cAllegiance,\u201d \u201cBandstand\u201d and \u201cKinky Boots\u201d from the stage to the screen.<\/p>\n<p>Monda earned a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/liberal-arts.wright.edu\/theatre-dance-and-motion-pictures\/bachelor-of-fine-arts-in-acting-musical-theatre-concentration\">Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theatre<\/a>\u00a0in 2012 from Wright State.
