The drive-thru event also offered free wellness services.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Wright State President Sue Edwards, Erhardt Preitauer, president of CareSource, and Willis Blackshear Jr., a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, volunteered to distribute food along with dozens of CareSource employees.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cThe Foodbank does an amazing job for our community and I\u2019m happy that Wright State can help in any way we can,\u201d said Edwards.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s great to have folks who can make some real, lasting policy change here on site with us today,\u201d said Lee Lauren Truesdale, chief development officer for The Foodbank.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The Foodbank\u2019s distribution began at 10 a.m. and cars began to line up around 9. Wright State police officers directed traffic into four pickup lanes and helped to avoid any large backups on Raider Road.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>More assistance available<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The Foodbank Drive Thru Pantry is open to those in need of food assistance on Wednesdays from 9 to 11 a.m. at 56 Armor Place in Dayton.
