Wright State University\u2019s International Education Week featured a flurry of activities and programming including the popular Study Abroad Fair and a fashion show on Nov. 4 in the Student Union Atrium.<\/p>\n
The fair provided students with information about how to travel overseas while earning credit toward their degree. Currently, Wright State offers 60 study abroad programs.<\/p>\n
Students who attended the fair took the opportunity to meet with professors leading ambassador programs and connected with financial aid advisors about study abroad scholarships.<\/p>\n
\u201cWright State is very global,\u201d said Joy Wanderi, associate director of the University Center for International Education<\/a>. \u201cWe have students from all over the world and we are excited to share this.\u201d<\/p>\n Wanderi said students who choose to study abroad grow as a person, have more career choices, tend to have better grades and are often in demand when they graduate.<\/p>\n \u201cMost employers are looking for well-rounded students,\u201d added Wanderi.<\/p>\n Students and UCIE staff also participated in an international fashion show during the fair.
