The 14th annual Chili Cookoff, three men\u2019s and women\u2019s basketball games, an alumni beer tasting and a Homecoming Dance highlighted Wright State University\u2019s packed Homecoming week on the Dayton Campus Jan. 21 through Jan. 28.<\/p>\n
\u201cGetting to do this is so cool to see everyone come out,\u201d said Chloe Johnston, a senior majoring in history and who participated in the Chili Cookoff.<\/p>\n
This year marked a significant change for Homecoming week at Wright State. Rather than hosting events based around the club football and soccer seasons in the fall, Homecoming week was moved to\u00a0spring semester\u00a0to spotlight the Wright State basketball teams while also allowing more student organizations to participate in activities.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt really unites our community and brings us together,\u201d said Kaci Lovejoy, a junior majoring in organizational leadership.<\/p>\n
Additional Homecoming activities included a kickoff event in the Apollo Room, Raider on the Rocks virtual mixology class, an exhibition at the Stein Galleries and Raider Open House.<\/p>\n
