There was plenty of free food, music and smiles at the annual Spring Grad Fest 2023 in the Student Union Apollo Room on April 20.<\/p>\n
Graduating students were eager to decorate their graduation caps, pick up their first alumni T-shirts, take photos and learn about the Wright State Alumni Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s weird that it\u2019s going to be over,\u201d said Mykali Isaac, a senior human resource management major who plans to move to South Dakota after graduation. \u201cI\u2019ve been in school my whole life and now I\u2019m going to navigate life after college.\u201d<\/p>\n The event was part of Grad Week, organized by the Office of Alumni Relations. Spring Grad Fest attracted around 100 students, who had a chance to win prizes, dance and celebrate with fellow graduates.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is the most exciting time of the year for our office,\u201d said Bing Bingham, alumni relations officer in the Office of Alumni Relations. \u201cThis is the time where we get to interact with the most students and get to welcome them to alumni life.\u201d<\/p>\n The spring class of 2023 includes 1,603 graduates.
