We are excited for Wright State&#8217;s high-caliber academic programs and student outcomes to be recognized alongside so many notable colleges and universities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Center for World University Rankings publishes the largest academic rankings of global universities. The rankings are unique in that they use objective indicators for four key pillars underlying the ranking methodology. These pillars are education, employability, faculty and research, with no reliance on surveys and university data submissions.<\/p>\n<p>The education pillar is based on the academic success of a university\u2019s alumni and measured by the number of alumni who have won prestigious academic distinctions relative to the university&#8217;s size.<\/p>\n<p>Employability refers to the professional success of a university\u2019s alumni and is measured by the number of alumni who have held top positions at major companies relative to the university&#8217;s size.<\/p>\n<p>Faculty is measured by the number of faculty members who have won prestigious academic distinctions.<\/p>\n<p>Research relies on a number of factors including research output, which is measured by the total number of research papers; high-quality publications, which is measured by the number of research papers appearing in top-tier journals; influence, measured by the number of research papers appearing in highly influential journals; and citations, measured by the number of highly cited research papers.<\/p>\n<p>Equal emphasis is put on student-related and faculty-related indicators.
