Wiley Gallery in the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/danalwileygallery.com\/pages\/bridge-edu\">Bridge EDU: Support, Connect\u201d<\/a> exhibition, now on display through Aug. 22.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI felt like this was a way for me to be of service to the community,\u201d said gallery co-owner Dana L. Wiley, who earned her <a href=\"https:\/\/liberal-arts.wright.edu\/fine-and-performing-arts\/bachelor-of-arts-or-bachelor-of-fine-arts-in-art\">bachelor\u2019s degree in fine art<\/a> in 2016 from Wright State.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The purpose of the exhibition is to offer students a connection to supportive channels within the art community. Wiley hopes to provide a platform for emerging artists after they graduate from Wright State and to encourage developing artists to pursue careers in the art field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWhoever comes into this space, the environment will facilitate the interaction between the viewer and the art,\u201d said Wiley.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The gallery, which is located at the Front Street Studio Gallery at 1001 East Second St. in Dayton, has supported the art community through events and exhibitions since Wiley co-founded it in 2018.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wright State fine art faculty members Glen Cebulash, Stefan Chinov, Jeremy Long, Benjamin Montague and Kim Vito\u00a0selected the artwork that best fit the requirements for the exhibition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The gallery hosted a panel discussion on July 16 for the artists whose artwork is on display.
