Wright State University hosted several Halloween-themed events designed to provide opportunities to connect with others and have fun.<\/p>\n

One of the events was the second annual Trunk or Treat, hosted by the Wright State Department of Public Safety<\/a> on Oct. 26.<\/p>\n

Almost 200 Mini University preschoolers and their parents joined Wright State athletic teams, the Student Government Association, the Fairborn Fire Department, Ohio State Patrol and the Dayton and Wright State police departments as they decorated their vehicles and passed out candy to kids.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are hoping that every year it gets bigger and bigger,\u201d said Kurt Holden, director of public safety.<\/p>\n

The University Activities Board hosted the Halloween Bash for those Wright State students who had the courage to attend. The event featured the Human Butcher Shop, a haunted house in the Student Union Endeavour Room, food, games and a mechanical pumpkin.<\/p>\n
