Aaron Lasky and other students in the Bodies of Water class created their own oceans after conducting their own experiments studying salt versus fresh water bodies.<\/p><\/div>\n

The Office of Pre-College Programs offers a wide variety of week-long learning opportunities for K\u201312 students \u201ccamping\u201d at Wright State University this summer. The first group of summer enrichment programs, Camp Discovery for K\u20136 students and Camp Odyssey for 7\u20139 students, kicked off June 11.<\/p>\n

The programs are designed for students to engage in such fields as science, mathematics, foreign languages, the arts, the humanities and computer technology.\u00a0Classes are planned from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with extended care available. Select courses for the gifted and talented are also available.<\/p>\n

Residential camps and institutes are set for sixth to 12th graders. The participants live on campus for the week-long programs and are supervised by a trained residential staff 24 hours a day. Courses are available in engineering, archaeology, creative writing, law and politics, leadership, mathematics, science, theatre and more.<\/p>\n
