Janet L. Watkins, until recently a personnel executive at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, has been hired as associate director of the Glenn Research Center of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.<\/p>\n
She is responsible for overall management of operations at the Glenn center, said Ray Lugo, Glenn\u2019s director.<\/p>\n
At Wright-Patterson, Watkins had been in charge of developing policies and procedures for the Air Force Materiel Command\u2019s personnel in-sourcing program, NASA Glenn officials said. She served for more than 20 years in Air Force management.<\/p>\n
Watkins, a native of Dayton, received her bachelor\u2019s degree in business administration and management from Wright State University and her master\u2019s degree in public administration from Central Michigan University, NASA officials said.<\/p>\n
