\"\"<\/a>Just as Wright State University\u2019s namesakes, Orville and Wilbur Wright, took the first flight and forever changed the world, Wright State faculty and staff change the lives of students every day. Whether traveling a couple of miles or halfway across the world, our students chose Wright State as their destination.<\/p>\n

During the annual Campus Scholarship and Innovation Campaign (CSIC)<\/a>, faculty and staff can further impact students by making a gift to one of more than 2,000 scholarships and programs.<\/p>\n

During this year\u2019s CSIC, which runs from March 11 to April 19, faculty and staff are invited to join the Flight Crew, which consists of 615 crew members.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Flight Crew is composed of like-minded faculty, staff and retirees who support the mission of Wright State University and its commitment to student success,\u201d said Amy Jones, director of annual giving. \u201cBy joining the Flight Crew, you are making a meaningful impact in our students’ educational experience while also investing in the areas of campus that mean the most to you.\u201d<\/p>\n

All CSIC donors who make a minimum gift of $5 are recognized as members of the Flight Crew.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is our way of honoring faculty and staff for their support of Wright State University and our students,\u201d Jones said. \u201cWe encourage all faculty and staff to come on board to help our students take off to even greater heights of success.\u201d<\/p>\n

During last year\u2019s CSIC, 42% of Wright State\u2019s full-time faculty and staff participated, contributing more than $360,000 to scholarships, programs and athletics.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the 2024 campaign takes flight, the goal is 50% participation among full-time faculty and staff.<\/p>\n

Launch event on March 15 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Faculty and staff are invited to help CSIC soar to a successful start at a launch event with Wright State University President Sue Edwards on Friday, March 15.<\/p>\n

Breakfast will be served in the Apollo Room in the Student Union from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. There will also be giveaways and door raffle prizes, including:<\/p>\n
