Cohen, screenwriter of the film. Cordes serves as a WSU senior lecturer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThe Apple Tree\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Nov. 15-24, 2024<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Herbst Studio Theatre<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Guest director\/choreographer: Leslie Goddard-Baum<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Composer Jerry Bock and lyricist Sheldon Harnick, the songwriting team behind \u201cFiddler on the Roof\u201d and \u201cShe Loves Me,\u201d wrote this witty, tuneful, and charming 1966 show comprised of three musical miniatures: \u201cThe Diary of Adam and Eve\u201d, \u201cThe Lady or the Tiger?\u201d and \u201cPassionella.\u201d Goddard-Baum notably appeared on Broadway in \u201cHairspray,\u201d and Wright State\u2019s resident music director Wade Russo will provide music direction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cMuch Ado About Nothing\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Feb. 14-23, 2025<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Festival Playhouse<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Director: Josh Aaron McCabe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>William Shakespeare\u2019s comedic romp revels in mistaken identity, witty banter and romance. McCabe serves as Head of Bachelor of Fine Arts Acting Program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cEverybody\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Feb. 21-March 2, 2025<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Herbst Studio Theatre<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Guest director: Gregory Mallios<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Branden Jacobs-Jenkins\u2019 modern adaptation on \u201cEveryman,\u201d a 15th century morality play, centers on the meaning of living. At each performance the actors\u2019 roles are selected by lottery, requiring each actor to know and perform all the roles. Mallios, a WSU alum, is an adjunct instructor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cAlice By Heart\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>March 14-30, 2025<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Festival Playhouse<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Director\/choreographer: Greg Hellems<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This new musical inspired by Lewis Carroll\u2019s \u201cAlice\u2019s Adventures in Wonderland\u201d is from Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik, the Tony and Grammy Award-winning songwriting team behind \u201cSpring Awakening.\u201d Co-written by Jessie Nelson (\u201dWaitress\u201d), the show \u201ccelebrates the transformational power of the imagination, even in the harshest of times.\u201d Hellems serves as Head of Bachelor of Fine Arts Musical Theatre Program. Wade Russo will provide music direction.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spring Dance Concert<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>April 24-27, 2025<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Festival Playhouse<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Wright State University Dance Ensemble will offer diverse works.
