Hundreds of students and alumni connected with potential employers and explored career and internship opportunities at Wright State University\u2019s Spring Career and Internship Fair 2025 on Feb. 4 in the Student Union Apollo Room.<\/p>\n
Hosted by Wright State\u2019s Career Services<\/a>, the fair attracted 65 employers who met with Wright State students and alumni about filling roles in their organizations.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s definitely great to see all of these employers here,\u201d said Michael Harrison, a sophomore accountancy major.<\/p>\n Participation in Wright State\u2019s Career Fairs this academic year continues to rise. Last fall\u2019s event was the largest in recent years, attracting nearly 1,000 students and alumni along with 88 employers.<\/p>\n More health care employers have also participated in the Career Fairs, including Premiere Health and five area hospitals attending the spring event.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s exciting to be here today and see students and employers connecting,\u201d said Julie Wielonski, associate director of external and community events for Career Services. \u201cIt\u2019s exactly what we wanted it to be.\u201d<\/p>\n GE Aerospace and Honda were the first two employers to reserve conference room space in the new Career Hub, which provides space for students and employers to connect during and after the Career Fair.<\/p>\n The Career Hub, which opened in January in the Student Union, offers a one-of-a-kind, centralized space where students can receive career advice, prepare for interviews, meet with potential employers and get free headshots.<\/p>\n \u201cThe ambition that we are seeing in students is telling enough,\u201d said Adrianne Miller, a recruiter for Honda.<\/p>\n For more information about upcoming career events and services, visit wright.edu\/career-services<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hundreds of students and alumni connected with potential employers and explored career and internship opportunities at Wright State University\u2019s Spring Career and Internship Fair.
