\"\"<\/a>Just as Wright State University\u2019s namesakes, Orville and Wilbur Wright, took the first flight and forever changed the world, Wright State faculty, staff and retirees change the lives of students every day. Whether traveling a couple miles or halfway across the world, our students chose Wright State as their destination.<\/p>\n

During the annual Campus Scholarship and Innovation Campaign (CSIC)<\/a>, faculty, staff and retirees can further impact students by making a gift to one of more than 2,000 scholarships and programs.<\/p>\n

During this year\u2019s CSIC, which runs from March 17 to April 25, faculty, staff and retirees are invited to join the Flight Crew, which currently consists of 683 crew members.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Flight Crew is composed of like-minded faculty, staff and retirees who support the mission of Wright State University and its commitment to the success of current and future students,\u201d said Amy Jones, director of annual giving. \u201cBy joining the Flight Crew, you are making a meaningful impact in our students\u2019 educational experience while also investing in the areas of campus that mean the most to you.\u201d<\/p>\n

All CSIC donors who make a minimum gift of $5 are recognized as members of the Flight Crew.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is our way of honoring faculty, staff and retirees for their support of Wright State University and our students,\u201d Jones said. \u201cWe encourage all faculty, staff and retirees to come on board and propel our students to take off to even greater heights of success.\u201d<\/p>\n

During last year\u2019s CSIC, 52% of Wright State\u2019s full-time faculty and staff participated, contributing more than $500,000 to scholarships, programs and athletics.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The goal of the 2025 campaign is 50% participation among full-time faculty and staff.<\/p>\n

Launch event on March 18 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Faculty and staff are invited to help CSIC soar to a successful start at a launch event with Wright State University President Sue Edwards on Tuesday, March 18.<\/p>\n

Breakfast will be served in the Student Union Endeavour Room from 8:30 to 10 a.m. There will also be giveaways and door raffle prizes, including:<\/p>\n
