I am very grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After graduating with a <a href=\"https:\/\/liberal-arts.wright.edu\/social-sciences-and-international-studies\/bachelor-of-arts-in-crime-and-justice-studies\">bachelor\u2019s degree in crime and justice studies<\/a> in 2017, Hale joined the Secret Service as an investigative support assistant student trainee in the Dayton Resident Office.<\/p>\n<p>She collaborated with Secret Service special agents and other federal and local law enforcement partners to execute search warrants, interview subjects and prepare reports and affidavits. She also contributed to a management team that helped implement legislation making the counterfeiting of U.S. currency and credit cards a felony offense in Ohio.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile in Dayton, I was given the opportunity to work full time with the Secret Service,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd now I\u2019ve been there going on eight years.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_159474\" style=\"width: 470px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2025\/05\/22\/from-wright-state-to-secret-service-christina-hale-honored-as-graduate-of-the-last-decade\/71721-kathy-kuntz-alumni-achievement-awards-2-7-25-7\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-159474\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-159474\" class=\"wp-image-159474 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2025\/05\/Christina-Hale-71721_047-508x339.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"460\" height=\"307\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-159474\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">2017 graduate Christina Hale laid the groundwork for a career in federal law enforcement as a student at Wright State.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Her professional growth eventually led her to the Secret Service\u2019s headquarters in Washington, D.C., where she works as a protective intelligence research specialist. At the Threat Assessment Desk in the Protective Intelligence and Assessment Division, she gathers and analyzes intelligence reports related to protected individuals and national special security events. She has led protective intelligence efforts for major operations, including the United Nations General Assembly, the Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit and the 2024 Democratic National Convention.<\/p>\n<p>In recognition of her achievements, Hale was awarded the 2025 Graduate of the Last Decade Award by the Wright State University Alumni Association.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReceiving this award means so much to me,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd to be recognized for both the hard work I did as a student and since I\u2019ve graduated.
