Hundreds of future students and their families visited Wright State University\u2019s Dayton Campus for Explore Wright State Day on Oct. 18, connecting with faculty and current students while learning why it\u2019s a great time to be a Raider.<\/p>\n
Explore Wright State Day was open to any student interested in pursuing a bachelor\u2019s degree at Wright State.<\/p>\n
\u201cExplore Wright State Day is one of my favorite days,\u201d said Jen McCamis, associate vice president for undergraduate admissions. \u201cOur goal when students leave Explore Wright State Day is that they have all of their questions answered, that they\u2019ve learned about the wonderful scholarship opportunities and how Wright State provides a quality, affordable education.\u201d<\/p>\n
The event gave future students, including transfer students, a firsthand look at what it is like to be a Wright State student<\/p>\n
Visitors toured campus, learned about academic programs, explored housing options and discovered the many resources available to help students succeed.<\/p>\n
Students and families also received information about learned about financial aid and scholarship opportunities, including the Wright Tuition Guarantee Program, which locks in the same annual cost of tuition, housing and dining over a four-year college career for newly admitted, degree-seeking undergraduate students who are Ohio residents.<\/p>\n
