{"id":163537,"date":"2026-01-28T09:16:22","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T14:16:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/?p=163537"},"modified":"2026-01-28T09:16:22","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T14:16:22","slug":"student-run-reyrey-cafe-celebrates-decade-of-entrepreneurship-at-wright-state","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2026\/01\/28\/student-run-reyrey-cafe-celebrates-decade-of-entrepreneurship-at-wright-state\/","title":{"rendered":"Student-run ReyRey Caf\u00e9 celebrates decade of entrepreneurship at Wright State"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wright State University celebrated the 10th anniversary of the student-run ReyRey Caf\u00e9 and the official opening of its new location in Dunbar Library with a campus event recognizing a decade of entrepreneurship, partnership and student impact.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The celebration highlighted ReyRey Caf\u00e9\u2019s evolution from a small, student-operated concept into a successful campus business and experiential learning model.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Since opening in 2015, the caf\u00e9 has been operated by Wright State students, who manage daily operations, finances, marketing and staffing while gaining real-world business experience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Last fall, the caf\u00e9 relocated from Rike Hall to Dunbar Library, bringing increased visibility, higher foot traffic and expanded opportunities for student leadership.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dawn Conway, interim dean of the <a href=\"https:\/\/business.wright.edu\">Raj Soin College of Business<\/a>, said the caf\u00e9 is a model of experiential learning, student support and successful collaboration between Wright State and community partners.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThis collaboration blends industry expertise, entrepreneurial spirit and student leadership, creating opportunities that energize our campus and strengthen our community,\u201d Conway said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Speakers at the celebration included Chris Walsh, president and acting CEO of Reynolds and Reynolds, and Henry Dean, president of Boston Stoker, whose companies have partnered with Wright State since ReyRey Caf\u00e9\u2019s founding.
