\"\"<\/a>Basketball games, the Alumni Achievement Awards, Trivia Night, a chili cookoff and salsa dancing will highlight Wright State University\u2019s packed Homecoming Week on the Dayton Campus Feb. 4\u20137.<\/p>\n

\u201cHomecoming is a time for current and former students to connect with each other and the university\u2019s faculty and staff and celebrate the Raider spirit that connects us all,\u201d said Greg Scharer, executive director of alumni relations at Wright State.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s theme is \u201cBlock Party,\u201d featuring a lineup of events that bring students, employees and alumni together to reconnect, celebrate and show their Wright State pride.<\/p>\n

A special highlight of Homecoming is the inaugural Campus Challenge: School Supply Drive, running throughout the week. Faculty and staff are encouraged to donate school supplies while competing to see which college can contribute the most. Supplies can be dropped off at University Hall, Student Involvement and Leadership, Dunbar Library and White Hall.<\/p>\n

\u201cHomecoming is about connections \u2014 to one another and to our alma mater,\u201d said Courtney Laukitis, associate director of campus programs. \u201cThis year\u2019s events are a chance to celebrate the Raider spirit that connects us all as students, employees and alumni.\u201d<\/p>\n

Homecoming is presented by the Wright State Alumni Association, Wright State University and Wright State student organizations.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, Feb. 4:

4:30 to 6 p.m., Student Union Endeavour Room<\/strong>: First Gen Homecoming Event celebrating the first-generation student and alumni community<\/p>\n

6 to 8 p.m., Student Union Apollo Room<\/strong>: Homecoming Salsa Night, featuring live music, dancing and light refreshments<\/p>\n
