Part of Wright State\u2019s week-long Homecoming celebration, the Cook-Off preceded the Homecoming Men\u2019s Soccer Game on Friday, October 12.<\/p>\n<p>Teams of students put their culinary skills to the test. Attendees were asked to sample each teams\u2019 chili and vote for their favorite.<\/p>\n<p>Prizes were awarded to the following teams:<br \/>\n1st Place: Wright State Disc Golf<br \/>\n2nd Place: Alpha Xi Delta Sorority<br \/>\n3rd Place: Office of Student Activities<br \/>\nPeople&#8217;s Choice: Phi Sigma Rho Sorority<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_16763\" style=\"width: 270px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2012\/10\/15\/student-on-the-scene-homecoming-chili-cook-off\/9779-423\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-16763\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16763\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-16763 \" src=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2012\/10\/9779-423-260x161.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"260\" height=\"161\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-16763\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Wright State President David R. Hopkins and his wife Angelia served as &#8220;celebrity&#8221; tasters at the cook-off.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The chilies varied from spicy and chunky to zesty and smooth. Each team brought a unique recipe to the table for all to enjoy.
