The Wright State University Foundation<\/a> has appointed four new trustees to its Board of Trustees, adding leaders in education, healthcare, finance and accounting who bring decades of professional expertise and strong ties to the university.<\/p>\n

The new trustees are Justin Blevins, Chris Brookshire, Kevin Chriske and Chris Snyder.<\/p>\n

Justin Blevins ’19<\/p><\/div>\n

Justin Blevins<\/strong> is the treasurer and chief financial officer for the Kettering City School District, overseeing the district\u2019s $174 million operating budget and $480 million capital construction program. After earning a bachelor\u2019s degree in education from Miami University, he worked for several years as a science teacher before moving into an administrative role. Blevins received his master\u2019s degree in economics<\/a> from Wright State University in 2019.<\/p>\n

Chris Brookshire ’11, ’14<\/p><\/div>\n

Chris Brookshire<\/strong> is a nursing professional and healthcare administrator with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. A longtime Wright State volunteer, he has served as president, vice president and treasurer of the Wright State University Alumni Association Board of Directors. In recent years, he represented the Alumni Association on the Wright State Foundation Board of Trustees. Brookshire earned his bachelor\u2019s degree<\/a> and master\u2019s degree in nursing in 2011 and 2014, respectively, from Wright State.<\/p>\n

Kevin Chriske<\/p><\/div>\n

Kevin Chriske<\/strong> has spent 30 years in institutional asset management, beginning at Northern Trust and serving in leadership roles at UBS Global Asset Management, SEI and currently U.S. Bancorp Asset Management. During his tenure at SEI, he worked directly with the Wright State Foundation for many years. Chriske earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Business Administration from Elmhurst College.<\/p>\n

Chris Snyder ’06, ’08<\/p><\/div>\n

Chris Snyder<\/strong> has been a partner in the firm of Kentner Sellers since 2017, providing accounting, tax and consulting services to clients in the construction and manufacturing industries. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs. Snyder earned his bachelor\u2019s degree<\/a> and master\u2019s degrees in accountancy in 2006 and 2008, respectively, from Wright State and was a captain of the university\u2019s baseball team.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a privilege to welcome our new trustees to the Wright State University Foundation board,\u201d said Chair Loghan Young. \u201cI appreciate their willingness to invest their time, experience and expertise in Wright State. I look forward to the ideas, leadership and collaboration they will bring as we continue supporting the university\u2019s students, faculty and future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Andrea Wall, executive director of the foundation, echoed those sentiments.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are honored and thrilled to welcome these wonderful alums and friends to the Wright State University Foundation Board of Trustees,\u201d Wall said.<\/p>\n
