Multicultural Halloween will feature some great costumes like the one's (L-R) Mia Honaker, Joey Gibbons and Linh Tang wore last year.<\/p><\/div>\n

The Halloween spirit is creeping up on Wright State. Students, staff and faculty will have a number of opportunities to participate in festive activities and events.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Oct. 25, 4 Paws Wright State is hosting a \u201cHowl-O-Ween\u201d fundraiser. The event will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Student Union Atrium. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward helping Mallory Holler, a Wright State student, obtain her 4 Paws for Ability service dog.<\/p>\n

Activities at the event include food, a photo booth, a raffle and a costume contest for kids. If interested in donating, but unable to attend, visit http:\/\/4pawsforability.org\/donate-now\/<\/a> and include in the instruction box that you are donating to Mallory Holler via Wright State University Fundraiser.
\nAlso on Thursday, Oct. 25, is the Multicultural Halloween Celebration. This event combines Halloween traditions of North America with other fall holiday customs from around the world. The event\u2019s activities consist of multicultural music and dance, ethnic foods and costumes, and games and contests. Attendees are encouraged to come in Halloween costumes. The Multicultural Halloween Celebration will take place from 5:30 to 8:30\u00a0 p.m. in the Student Union Apollo Room.<\/p>\n

Prepare to eat Halloween candy until you're blue in the face at Howloween Hoops.<\/p><\/div>\n

On Monday, Oct. 29, Raiders fans can meet and greet the Wright State basketball team at the Nutter Center from 6:30 to 8 p.m. during the annual \u201cHowloween Hoops\u201d event.<\/p>\n

At Howloween Hoops, student organizations will have informational booths and bowls of candy to pass out; families are encouraged to take their children trick-or-treating around the arena. For more information, contact the Wright State athletic department at (937) 775-2771.<\/p>\n

Also on Monday, Oct. 29, the Honors Community will be hosting a Safe Trick-or-Treat. From 6 to 8 p.m., anyone with kids or young siblings can head to the Honors residence hall for fun and games. Kids 2 through 12 can trick-or-treat and enjoy other activities such as face painting, coloring, pumpkin painting and more.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Oct. 30, students looking for a fright can go to the Outdoor Resource Center Challenge Course for the \u201cTower of Terror.\u201d Participants will walk through haunted woods to the 60-foot \u201cTower of Terror\u201d and then will muster up the courage to walk to the top. Proceeds from the event will go towards purchasing new climbing holds for the indoor climbing gym.<\/p>\n

The event will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. Admission is $5 with an additional $10 fee to rappel down the \u201cTower of Terror.\u201d Young children are not encouraged to attend. Shuttles will be running from the Outdoor Resource Center in the Student Union to the Tower.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
