The Ohio chapter of the ACP awarded them medals.<\/p>\n<p>Doctor\u2019s Dilemma<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> is a medical jeopardy competition. Each year, internal medicine residency programs throughout the state form teams to compete at the Ohio ACP conference. This is the first year the Ohio ACP has offered Doctor\u2019s Dilemma<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> to medical students.<\/p>\n<p>The questions test medical students\u2019 knowledge on uncommon or rare syndromes in internal medicine. \u201cKnowing the correct answer is important, but being able to buzz in before other teams is equally as important,\u201d Bacon said. \u201cSometimes you have to buzz in off of a few key words before they finish the question. Otherwise another team will beat you to it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Glen Solomon, M.D., chair and professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Program director at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, applauded their victory. \u201cIt shows how academically prepared Wright State medical students are compared with their peers at other medical schools,\u201d Solomon said. \u201cOn virtually any measure, our students are at the top of their profession.
