In their own ways, these women have reshaped the genre through their unique perspectives and distinct voices.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_19292\" style=\"width: 186px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2013\/02\/28\/writers-panel-to-launch-womens-history-month\/fallout-book-cover\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-19292\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-19292\" class=\"size-full wp-image-19292\" src=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2013\/02\/Fallout-book-cover.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"176\" height=\"240\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-19292\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Fallout by Trudy Krisher<\/p><\/div>\n<p>According to Stephanie Bange, director of the Educational Resource Center, this is the first time Wright State is hosting a panel of this type.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wanted to kick off Women\u2019s History Month by celebrating four local women, all strong and gifted at their craft,\u201d said Bange. \u201cThey will express their thoughts about their craft and how it has affected their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The panel discussion is unique because it is co-sponsored by three groups: the Department of English Creative Writing Program Committee, the Women\u2019s Center and the Educational Resource Center.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_19293\" style=\"width: 193px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2013\/02\/28\/writers-panel-to-launch-womens-history-month\/onemoment-book-cover\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-19293\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-19293\" class=\"size-full wp-image-19293\" src=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2013\/02\/OneMoment-book-cover.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"183\" height=\"276\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-19293\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">One Moment by Kristina McBride<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cWe invite walk-ins from faculty, staff and students at<\/p>\n<p>Wright State and the larger Miami Valley community to join us as we celebrate literature for young adults,\u201d said Bange.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees are strongly encouraged to participate in the dialogue. This event will give aspiring writers and literature enthusiasts a chance to ask questions about the authors\u2019 work, experiences, challenges, backgrounds and the publication process.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_19291\" style=\"width: 192px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2013\/02\/28\/writers-panel-to-launch-womens-history-month\/alaska-book-cover\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-19291\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-19291\" class=\"size-full wp-image-19291\" src=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2013\/02\/Alaska-book-cover.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"182\" height=\"277\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-19291\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">My One Square Inch of Alaska by Sharon Short<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cEach of these women has become friends through their work and has great respect and admiration for one another,\u201d said Bange. \u201cI think that will come through in their answers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A reception and book signing will take place after the panel discussion. Selected titles by each author will be available for sale by the Wright State Bookstore.
