The Office of Pre-College Programs offers a wide variety of week-long learning opportunities for K\u201312 students \u201ccamping\u201d at Wright State University this summer. The pictures from this group of summer enrichment programs, Camp Discovery for K\u20136 students and Camp Odyssey for students in grades 7\u20139, are from the session that began June 24.<\/p>\n

The programs are designed for students to engage in such fields as science, mathematics, foreign languages, the arts, the humanities and computer technology.\u00a0Classes are held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with extended care available. Select courses for the gifted and talented are also available.<\/p>\n

Residential camps and institutes are set for sixth to 12th graders. Participants live on campus for the week-long programs and are supervised by a trained residential staff 24 hours a day. Courses are available in engineering, archaeology, creative writing, law and politics, leadership, mathematics, science, theatre and more.<\/p>\n
