She has served as interim director, then director, of the BEACON accelerated B.S.N program since 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Her collaborative efforts span the university\u2019s educational spectrum, helping her become one of Wright State\u2019s experts on academic policy.<\/p>\n<p>She is a member of the Strategic Planning Committee, the Strategic Enrollment Committee and the Dean\u2019s Advisory Council. Keister has also served on seven traditional and two <em>ad hoc<\/em> committees, including those for academic curriculum, policies, and honors. When Wright State prepared to convert from a quarter-based to semester-based academic calendar, Keister chaired the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Her service has benefitted the community as well.
