Hopkins and Dan Krane, president of Wright State Faculty, published a column \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vindy.com\/news\/2013\/sep\/22\/value-of-college-increases-in-ohio\/\" target=\"_blank\">Value of college increases in Ohio<\/a>&#8221; in the Youngstown Vindicator.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNever before has the value of a college education been questioned more,\u201d they wrote. \u201cWith tuition and student debt on the rise, many have posed the question: Is a college education really worth the expense? The answer is a resounding yes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver a lifetime, individuals with a bachelor\u2019s degree make 84 percent more than those with only a high school diploma.
