Attendees will have the opportunity to win door prizes, including a Nook tablet.<\/p>\n<p>The open house includes panel discussions with current Wright State students who will discuss their experiences at the university, and with COLA alumni who will talk about career fields for liberal arts majors.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees can learn more about the college\u2019s departments: Art and Art History; Classics, Philosophy, Religion; Communications; English; History; Modern Languages; Music; Political Science; Social Work; Sociology and Anthropology; Theatre, Dance, and Motion Pictures; and Urban Affairs and Geography.<\/p>\n<p>Information will also be provided on the college\u2019s interdisciplinary programs: African and African American Studies, Crime and Justice Studies, International Studies, Liberal Studies, Social Science Education and Women\u2019s Studies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Pathways to Success open house will be an excellent way for students to find out about the various degree programs and student organizations available in the College of Liberal Arts,\u201d said Herb Dregalla, the college\u2019s associate dean for students and curriculum. \u201cIn addition, because Wright State University will be in session, it will be a great opportunity to experience what it\u2019s like to be in college. Classes will be held. Students will be on campus.
