March 8 is the 100th annual International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women of the past, present and future. Wright State University will commemorate the day with a roundtable presentation and discussion featuring three of its female professors.<\/p>\n
“Celebrating Women: International Women’s Day, Feminism and Labor from Petrograd to Paris to Piqua” will discuss how women have been celebrated in the past and how we might continue to do so in the future.<\/p>\n
Panelists will include Women’s Studies Professor-in-Residence Judith Ezekiel, Ph.D., Associate Professor of History Nancy Garner, Ph.D., and Associate Professor of Economics Barbara Hopkins, Ph.D.<\/p>\n
