Miles Dixon scored a season-high 20 points to lead the Raiders to victory.\u00a0Wright State then beat Cleveland State 68-63 in the semifinals on Saturday. Cole Darling led Wright State with 21 points, including a perfect 10 for 10 at the free throw line.<\/p>\n<p>The Raiders are 1\u20131 against the Milwaukee Panthers this season, having won the first meeting 73\u201357 at home before losing the second 68-64 on the road.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_28133\" style=\"width: 270px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2014\/03\/10\/talent-show-high-scoring-kim-demmings-putting-up-big-numbers-for-wright-state-women\/kim-demmings-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-28133\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-28133\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-28133\" src=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2014\/02\/kim-demmings-2-260x147.jpg\" alt=\"Point guard Kim Demmings\" width=\"260\" height=\"147\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-28133\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Wright State junior point guard Kim Demmings leads the Horizon League in scoring average with 22.8 points a game and was the second fastest-player in Wright State women&#039;s history to surpass the 1,000-point career.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Wright State women&#8217;s basketball (23\u20138, 12\u20134) opens Horizon League Tournament play on Wednesday, March 12, as the #2 seeded Raiders host #7 seed Milwaukee (8\u201321, 4\u201312) at 7 p.m. The Raiders are 2\u20130 against the Panthers this season.<\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s basketball team finished the regular season by winning both of its games last week. On Wednesday, the Raiders defeated Youngstown State 85\u201370 to clinch the #2 seed in this week\u2019s Horizon League Tournament. Four Wright State starters scored in double figures as Kim Demmings had 22 points, eight rebounds and six steals.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday on senior night, Wright State beat Valparaiso 101\u201380. KC Elkins finished with 37 points, including a school-record 10 threes on 14 attempts. Elkins also had four assists and four steals. The 37 points are the most by a Horizon League player in a game this season.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for Horizon League Tournament games are on sale now to the <a href=\"https:\/\/oss.ticketmaster.com\/aps\/wrightstate\/EN\/buy\/details\/14MB0311?DB_OEM_ID=27000\">general public through\u00a0wsuraiders.com<\/a>.
