DAYTON \u2014 The controversy swirling around actor Charlie Sheen isn\u2019t expected to have any impact on his father Martin Sheen\u2019s continuing connections to his hometown of Dayton.<\/p>\n
Those include a performing arts scholarship at Wright State University and the Dayton International Peace Museum, where Sheen is an honorary trustee.<\/p>\n
Sheen (who was born Ramon Estevez in Dayton) and actress Samantha Langevin established the Augsburger\/Estevez Scholarship in 1997 in memory of their fathers, who were both lifelong employees of NCR Corp. in Dayton.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe fund has in no way been affected by Charlie Sheen\u2019s situation,\u201d said W. Stuart McDowell, chair of Wright State\u2019s Department of Motion Pictures, Theatre and Dance.<\/p>\n
