{"id":32100,"date":"2014-07-23T08:36:23","date_gmt":"2014-07-23T12:36:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/?p=32100"},"modified":"2014-07-29T09:01:50","modified_gmt":"2014-07-29T13:01:50","slug":"wsu-music-school-to-present-concerts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2014\/07\/23\/wsu-music-school-to-present-concerts\/","title":{"rendered":"WSU music school to present concerts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Excerpt<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Wright State University School of Music will be presenting two concerts that are free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>The first is a faculty concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, in Schuster Hall in Wright State University\u2019s Creative Arts Center.<\/p>\n<p>The concert will feature Bob Becker, Bill Platt, Bill Cahn, Yurika Kimura, Heather Thorn, and Jeff Luft.<\/p>\n<p>They will be preforming the music of GH Green, a ragtime\/novelty mallet repertoire, which will accompany the silent film \u201cTeddy at the Throttle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Then on Saturday, July 26, at 3 p.m., also in Schuster Hall, there will be a seminar concert featuring advanced students from throughout the world.
