{"id":33954,"date":"2014-10-21T16:30:56","date_gmt":"2014-10-21T20:30:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/?p=33954"},"modified":"2015-06-23T10:59:58","modified_gmt":"2015-06-23T14:59:58","slug":"atic-and-wright-state-agree-to-collaborate-for-broader-workforce-devlopment-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2014\/10\/21\/atic-and-wright-state-agree-to-collaborate-for-broader-workforce-devlopment-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Wright State and ATIC agree to collaborate for broader workforce development program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2014\/10\/ATIC_Logo_700x550.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-33956\" src=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2014\/10\/ATIC_Logo_700x550-260x204.jpg\" alt=\"ATIC Logo\" width=\"260\" height=\"204\" \/><\/a>The Advanced Technical Intelligence Center for Human Capital Development (ATIC), based in Beavercreek, is joining forces with Wright State University to expand workforce development programs for both organizations.<\/p>\n<p>Neighbors and long-time contemporaries with complementary missions, ATIC and the <a href=\"http:\/\/wsri.wright.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Wright State Research Institute (WSRI)<\/a> will work cooperatively to pursue business development opportunities and create robust research, education and training capabilities throughout the Dayton region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis new collaboration expands the relationship between ATIC and the university, creating even more vigorous research, development, training and testing opportunities,\u201d said Dennis Andersh, CEO of the Wright State Applied Research Corporation, an affiliate unit of the university that\u00a0supports WSRI and growth in basic and applied research and development. \u201cATIC\u2019s university and industry-focused efforts in human capital development expands useful facilities and quickly connects us to collaborations for expanded workforce development programs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As part of the arrangement, ATIC\u2019s board appointed Cassie Barlow as ATIC\u2019s executive director.
