Muddied socks and gloves, rusty cans, plastic bottles and wrappings and cigarette butts were also scattered on the side of the road \u2014 that is, until Student Government arrived on the scene.<\/p>\n<p>On Oct. 25, members of Wright State\u2019s Student Government donned neon green vests and took to the highway for a little fall cleaning.<\/p>\n<p>By the end of the day, the student organization had collected enough garbage from the side of the road to fill 18 large bags.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_34135\" style=\"width: 270px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2014\/10\/highway-cleanup2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-34135\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-34135\" src=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2014\/10\/highway-cleanup2-260x185.jpg\" alt=\"Zena Fadel with an iPad\" width=\"260\" height=\"185\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-34135\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Zena Fadel, director of internal affairs for Student Government, holding up an iPad, one the many items the volunteers found during the cleanup.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The student-run organization recently adopted State Route 844 southbound from mile marker 0.0 to 1.6.
