Nevels, executive director and CFO of Boonshoft School of Medicine<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Dieter E. Nevels has been appointed executive director and chief financial officer of the Wright State University <a href=\"http:\/\/www.med.wright.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Boonshoft School of Medicine<\/a>, effective Oct. 20. He replaces John Bale, who will retire after 28 years of service to the medical school.<\/p>\n<p>Nevels has almost 30 years of broad-based experience in all aspects of corporate and medical school finance and business operations, ranging from strategic planning and analysis to valuations of merger\/acquisition targets.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2006, he has served as the director of finance and budget with the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University.
