A group of Wright State University staff has gone through miles of yarn to create more than 400 items for those in need.<\/p>\n
Since 2012, the Wright State Knitting\/Crocheting Circle has donated 147 afghans, 132 scarves, 84 hats, eight holiday stockings, three rugs and numerous stuffed toys, mittens, headbands and pot holders to four local agencies.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen you put all of us together even though we are small, we are mighty,\u201d said Cindy Vanzant, assistant director of the Woman\u2019s Center<\/a> at Wright State.<\/p>\n The Knitting\/Crocheting Circle is open to students, faculty, staff and alumni. The group meets in 162 Millett Hall Fridays from noon to 1 p.m.<\/p>\n Participants should bring their own materials.
