Students also participate in campus activities and network with students from other schools across the region.

Students work closely with the RSCOB faculty, staff, students and local business executives.

Dan Young, CEO of Young’s Jersey Dairy and a 1997 Wright State MBA graduate, will be a guest speaker. Wright State’s Small Business Development Center will conduct a session on entrepreneurship.

“The camp will give them the experience of college life and give a glimpse into the business world. … No matter what career path you take you need to have business skills, know how business works in the real world and have a greater understanding of entrepreneurship,” said Lisa Cooper, Professional Business Institute coordinator.

Students are divided into teams with a business student-coach and work on real-world business challenges from Scene 75, this year’s host company. Each team has a different business problem to solve.

At the end of the camp, local business professionals judge team presentations and solutions. Members of the winning team each receives a $500 scholarship to RSCOB.

WesBanco sponsors the camp. Registration for this year’s camp is closed.

For more information, visit wright.edu/pbi or contact Cooper at 937-775-2731 or lisa.cooper@wright.edu.

High school juniors and seniors will learn what it’s like to work in the fields of business during a residential camp hosted by Wright State’s Raj Soin College of Business. Continue reading →

[722,729,748,2048,4906,725,715,4908

post-37362","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-academics","category-around-campus","category-business","category-enrollment-management","category-finance-accountancy-management-information-systems-and-economics","category-home-news-sidebar","category-news","category-supply-chain-management-marketing-and-management
["GET
