Deer\u2019s induction will take place in conjunction with the community\u2019s annual DayTony awards gala at Sinclair Community College on Saturday, Aug. 8.<\/p>\n<p>Deer, who has headed Wright State\u2019s Musical Theatre department since its inception in 1997, has authored books on the subject of musical theater and also works with The Human Race Theatre Company and the Muse Machine.
