(Photo by Erin Pence)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Scenes of Wright State music students performing and interviews with faculty members will be featured in a Bosnian television program commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords.<\/p>\n<p>A Bosnian TV news crew visited Dayton to interview Wright State University faculty and others in the community as part of an hour-long feature on the peace agreement.<\/p>\n<p>The feature will broadcast on the public broadcasting system in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Nov. 21, the anniversary of the signing of the peace accords.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m very impressed with how the Dayton community is still involved and still cares about Bosnia and Herzegovina,&#8221; said Haris Bilalovi\u00e7, a public broadcasting editor and host in Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p>\n<p>The TV program is a &#8220;way to offer our viewers, especially the younger generations who don&#8217;t remember the wartime or the Dayton Peace Accords, that links between our two communities are very strong,&#8221; Bilalovi\u00e7 said.<\/p>\n<p>Bilalovi\u00e7 and videographer Emir Ibiahimovi\u00e7 spent two weeks in the United States, traveling to Washington, D.C., New York, Boston, Denver and Dayton to interview many of the key negotiators of the Dayton Peace Accords.<\/p>\n<p>The TV feature will include two segments: a retrospective on the peace negotiations and agreement and a look at personal and community relations, with a focus on culture.<\/p>\n<p>Bilalovi\u00e7 and Ibiahimovi\u00e7 visited Wright State during <a href=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2015\/10\/06\/wright-state-will-celebrate-daytons-legacy-of-peace\/\">Accords: Peace, War and the Arts<\/a>, a celebration of the Dayton Peace Accords and the Dayton Literary Peace Prize. Sponsored by Wright State\u2019s Ohio Center of Excellence in <a href=\"http:\/\/liberal-arts.wright.edu\/celia\">Collaborative Education, Leadership and Innovation in the Arts (CELIA)<\/a>, Accords featured a photography exhibition, concert and literary conference.<\/p>\n<p>The TV crew interviewed Jackson Leung, professor of music; Ben Montague, associate professor of art; Andrew Strombeck, associate professor in the Department of English Language and Literatures; and Hank Dahlman, professor of music and CELIA director.<\/p>\n<p>Strombeck organized Wright State&#8217;s Accords activities during a fellowship with CELIA.<\/p>\n<p>The crew also filmed scenes at Harmony in the Heartland: A Concert for Peace on Oct. 25 in the Schuster Center.
