Wright State University and Heapy Engineering will co-host the Symposium on Sustainability in Health Care on April 21. The education and networking event will feature nationally renowned health care sustainability expert Gail Vittori as the keynote speaker.<\/p>\n
Vittori is a co-director for the Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems, a nonprofit design firm dedicated to sustainable planning and design. She is also the founding chair of the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED for Health Care Core Committee.<\/p>\n
The symposium will begin at 11 a.m. in the Student Union Apollo Room on Wright State’s Dayton campus and will include two panel discussions on sustainability in health care delivery, operations and management. In addition, exhibitors will be on hand offering the latest in “green” products and services.<\/p>\n
