In a tiny office overlooking the Creative Arts Center’s student lounge, vocal perfection is being created. Jasmine Easler\u2019s voice spills out of the second-floor room, into the lounge below and the Creative Arts Center Commons.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe\u2019s an amazing singing instrument, she\u2019s an amazing artist,\u201d said Jamie Cordes, senior lecturer of theatre arts and voice teacher.<\/p>\n
Easler, a senior musical theatre major<\/a>, was the recipient of an ArtsGala scholarship as well as a Tom Hanks scholarship. \u201cI think the ArtsGala scholarship makes a huge impact in peoples college experience at Wright State,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n ArtsGala draws nearly 800 patrons each year to enjoy an impressive program of student performances in theatre, dance, motion pictures, music and visual arts.
