The release of the \u201cPokemon Go\u201d last week has already been a huge hit on Wright State\u2019s campus. Hundreds of students can be found gathering near the university\u2019s numerous Pokey Stops and several virtual gyms around the clock.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe trails, the trees, the paths, you could probably spend hours on our campus playing \u2018Pokemon Go,\u2019\u201d said Julia Acosta, leadership studies program coordinator.<\/p>\n
The game has become a helpful way for incoming and prospective students to learn more about campus.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m new to campus and I didn\u2019t know this side of campus existed,\u201d said Adrienne Craver, a sophomore who recently transferred to Wright State.<\/p>\n
The free mobile app has been helpful for introverted students as well.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not one to actually get out and meet people. Seeing people that are actually doing the same thing is a big excitement thing for me,\u201d said Trevor Sloan, a freshman computer science major.<\/p>\n
