The event is set to draw scores of families to experience the arts at Wright State.<\/p>\n<p>The guiding idea for the event is simple: introduce kids and families from the community to the fine and performing arts and give everyone a chance to interact.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_8432\" style=\"width: 270px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8432\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-8432\" src=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2011\/10\/ArtsFair-18-260x204.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of a boy playing bongo drums.\" width=\"260\" height=\"204\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-8432\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">It&#8217;s a real hands on opportunity for kids and families who come to ArtsFair.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;We can\u2019t wait to welcome the families in our community to this year\u2019s ArtsFair,&#8221; said Kristin Sobolik, dean of the College of Liberal Arts. &#8220;Children and adults alike will enjoy a wide variety of interactive arts activities led by our fantastic fine and performing arts faculty, staff and students.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The breakfast event is $5 per person and includes live theatre performances, hands-on percussion music discovery and performance, interactive art activities, dancing and acting lessons, make-your-own instrument activities, artistic demonstrations and vocal music performances.<\/p>\n<p>ArtsFair was first hosted in 2011 and again in 2013 thanks to generous support from Morris Furniture Company.\u00a0President and CEO Larry Klaben is proud to sponsor this unique family-friendly event.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_8428\" style=\"width: 245px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8428\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-8428\" src=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2011\/10\/ArtsFair-8-235x300.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of a student dressed as a ballerina teaching two young girls to dance.\" width=\"235\" height=\"300\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-8428\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Learning new dance steps is one of many ways children get to be part of the show at ArtsFair.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;ArtsFair is a wonderful way to expose young kids and teens in our region to the arts.
