Wright State University<\/a>\u00a0has added another Ohio financial leader to its board.<\/p>\n

Stephanie Green<\/a>\u00a0has been appointed to the university’s 11-member board by Gov.\u00a0John Kasich<\/a>, it announced. Green is senior vice president at Fifth Third Bank and director of its Fifth Third Private Bank Central Ohio Region, based in Columbus. She replaces\u00a0Eloise Broner<\/a>\u00a0and her term expires in June 2026.<\/p>\n

Green has 28 years of experience at Fifth Third, and has been active in a number of boards and organizations in Columbus. Fifth Third Private Bank is the portion of the Cincinnati-based bank that focuses on investment and financial planning for high net-worth individuals and families.<\/p>\n

The appointment further shifts Wright State’s board leadership to favor private-sector business leadership and financial management, including the appointment of Wright-Patt Credit Union president and CEO\u00a0Doug Fecher<\/a>\u00a0as chair of the board. Broner is president of Good Samaritan Hospital and comes from a purchasing and health care operations background.<\/p>\n

Former Teradata COO\u00a0Bruce Langos<\/a>\u00a0was recently appointed to the board as well, replacing\u00a0Nina Joshi<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0UES<\/a>. Langos has favored a conservative approach to the school’s budget, and has favored further cuts and stricter financial reporting for the school of 3,700 employees and more than 14,000 students and 110,000 living alumni.<\/p>\n
